The purpose of the Eames House App is to let people virtually explore the house without them being there in real life. The app is based on American Industrial engineers Charles and Ray Eames’s home. It should be noted the impact of how this house influenced World War 2 and modern architecture in the 1950s and beyond. The collection of objects in their house along with the varied interior design was also iconic. Along with the app allowing you to virtually navigate space, there is also a scavenger hunt game built into the app where you can find items around the interior and interact with them. Like a museum, there is a shopping section, tour guide, and 3-D space where you can examine the items at all angles.
